How to download the monthly update

 

  1. Point your browser at www.alexanderfrances.co.za

 

  1. Click on the link to download the new data file in the blue bar near the top of the screen

 

  1. Select the product you have subscribed to by clicking on the link for the Premium or Standard Subscription

 

 

 

  1. Log in to the member’s area by entering your username and password.  Remember that the username is case sensitive.

 

 

  1. Click on “I accept the License Agreement”

 

 

 

  1. Click on the hyperlink for the software you use to access your M&M on disk data.

 

 

 

 

  1. When you are asked if you want to save or open the file, press the Save button.

 

 

 

3.       When asked where you want to save the file, select Desktop, and press Save.

 

 

 

  1. The file will begin downloading.  Wait for the file download to finish.

 

 

 

4.       When the file download finishes, you will see the window below.  Press the Close button.

 

 

 

5.       The file will have been saved to your desktop, and should appear as an icon on your desktop.  Locate the newly saved file, and RIGHT-CLICK over this file.

 

 

 

 

  1. From the popup menu, select EXTRACT ALL

 

  1. Windows XP users – click NEXT.  You will see a form similar to the following:  (Windows Vista users will see the form below without pressing NEXT):

 

 

  1. Change the Destination Folder to C:\program files\mmclient, then press EXTRACT.

 

 

 

 

  1. You will be asked if you want to overwrite the existing file – select YES.

 

  1. Press FINISH.

 

  1. Your M&M on Disk is now updated.  Run M&M on Disk and see if you can access the latest guide.
